P3P (Platform for Privacy Preferences) is a technology that allows websites to communicate their privacy practices automatically. It lets a website specify how it handles personal information, such as what data is collected, how it's used, and if it's shared. When a user visits a P3P-enabled site, their browser can read this information and compare it to the user’s preferences. If the practices align, the user can choose to proceed; if not, they can be warned or blocked. This provides more transparency and control over online privacy.
