P2P file sharing
Peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing is a method of distributing digital files directly between users' computers, rather than relying on a central server. In this system, each participant, or "peer," can both download and upload files, allowing for a more decentralized and efficient sharing process. This technology is often used for sharing large files like music, videos, and software. While it enables easy access to a vast array of content, it can sometimes raise legal issues when copyrighted materials are shared without permission. Examples of P2P software include BitTorrent and LimeWire.
