A p-zombie (philosophical zombie) is a hypothetical being that behaves exactly like a conscious person but lacks subjective experience or consciousness. It responds to stimuli, acts intelligently, and has all the physical features of a person, but without any inner awareness or feelings. The concept challenges the idea that external behavior alone indicates consciousness and prompts questions about what it means to truly have subjective experience. Think of it as an exact robotic replica of a person, with the key difference being the absence of inner awareness or qualia—the personal "feel" of experiences.
