Out-of-Body Experience (OBE)

An out-of-body experience (OBE) is a phenomenon where a person perceives their consciousness as separate from their physical body, often describing a sensation of floating or viewing themselves from outside. These experiences can occur spontaneously, during sleep, meditation, or traumatic events. While some interpret OBEs as spiritual or paranormal, scientific explanations suggest they may result from neurological processes, such as disruptions in brain regions responsible for self-awareness and perception. Although intriguing, OBEs remain a subject of ongoing research, and their exact causes and significance are not fully understood.
