Out of Africa

The "Out of Africa" theory is the most widely accepted explanation for the origins of modern humans. It suggests that anatomically modern humans (Homo sapiens) originated in Africa around 200,000 to 300,000 years ago. From there, they migrated to other parts of the world, replacing or interbreeding with local hominins like Neanderthals. This theory is supported by fossil evidence and genetic studies showing that all non-African populations are descended from these early African ancestors. Essentially, it highlights Africa's crucial role as the birthplace of humanity and the starting point for global human migration.
