Ottoman Turks

The Ottoman Turks were a powerful Muslim empire that originated in the late 13th century in Anatolia (modern-day Turkey). They expanded over centuries, controlling much of Southeast Europe, Western Asia, and North Africa. Their peak was in the 15th and 16th centuries under rulers like Suleiman the Magnificent. The Ottomans were known for their military strength, diverse culture, and contributions to art, architecture, and law. They ruled for over 600 years until the empire gradually declined, culminating in the establishment of the modern Republic of Turkey in 1923.
