Orthodox Church of America
The Orthodox Church in America (OCA) is an autocephalous Eastern Orthodox Christian jurisdiction primarily serving Russian-American communities and other ethnic groups across North America. Rooted in the Eastern Orthodox tradition, the OCA emphasizes worship rooted in ancient liturgical practices, theological continuity, and maintaining the teachings of Christ and the early Church. It is part of the global Eastern Orthodox communion, in full communion with other Orthodox churches. The OCA functions through local parishes, bishops, and clergy, fostering spiritual life, community service, and preserving Orthodox heritage within a North American context.
