Ornithischians
Ornithischians are a group of herbivorous dinosaurs characterized by a bird-like pelvis structure, where their hip bones form a shape similar to that of modern birds. They include diverse species such as Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and Duck-billed dinosaurs (hadrosaurs). These dinosaurs often had elaborate armor, horns, or plates for defense and display purposes. Ornithischians thrived during the Late Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, playing key roles in their ecosystems as plant-eaters. Their unique pelvic anatomy helped distinguish them from other dinosaur groups and contributed to their varied adaptations.
