Origin of the Universe

The origin of the universe is explained by the Big Bang theory, which suggests that about 13.8 billion years ago, all matter and energy were concentrated in an incredibly hot, dense point. Suddenly, this point expanded rapidly, cooling and creating space, time, and the fundamental particles. Over billions of years, these particles clumped together under gravity to form stars, galaxies, and planets, including Earth. This expansion is ongoing, and we observe it as galaxies moving away from each other. The Big Bang provides a scientific framework for understanding the universe's beginnings, grounded in evidence from astronomy and cosmology.
