Oriental

"Oriental" is an older term used to describe things related to Asia, especially East Asia and Southeast Asia. Historically, it referred to the cultures, peoples, and regions of countries like China, Japan, Korea, and others. However, the word has fallen out of favor because it can be seen as outdated or romanticized, and it may carry connotations of colonial perspectives. Today, more accurate and respectful terms such as "Asian" or specific country names are preferred to describe people and cultures from these regions.
