
Orhan Gazi
Orhan Gazi was the second Ottoman Sultan, ruling from 1326 to 1362. He expanded the empire beyond its original base in northwest Anatolia, establishing Bursa as the new capital. Known for strong leadership and administrative skills, he consolidated Ottoman power, encouraged military and cultural development, and laid the groundwork for the empire’s future expansion into Europe and Anatolia. Orhan Gazi played a key role in transforming the Ottomans into a significant regional power during his reign.
