Organization Intersex International

Organization Intersex International (OII) is a global advocacy group dedicated to defending the rights and well-being of intersex people—individuals born with physical sex characteristics that don’t fit typical male or female categories. OII promotes awareness, fights discrimination, and supports intersex individuals in gaining recognition, informed healthcare, and human rights. It works to ensure that intersex people are respected and can live without unnecessary medical interventions or stigma. Through advocacy, education, and community-building, OII aims to create a world where intersex individuals are accepted and their rights protected.
