Organismic Psychology
Organismic psychology is a perspective that views individuals as integrated, whole beings with innate drives and capacities for growth. It emphasizes understanding people in their natural context, recognizing that we are constantly developing physically, emotionally, and cognitively. This approach values inner experiences and personal meaning, believing that humans have an inherent tendency toward self-actualization and fulfillment. It considers the whole person, including their biological, psychological, and social aspects, and stresses the importance of personal agency and authentic self-expression in the process of psychological growth.
