Orazio Gentileschi

Orazio Gentileschi was an Italian Baroque painter born in 1563, known for his vivid and dramatic use of light and color. He worked in Rome and later in England, creating religious and mythological artworks that expressed emotion and movement. A master portrait artist, Gentileschi captured both the personality and inner life of his subjects. His style influenced the development of Baroque painting, emphasizing realism and dynamic scenes.
