The Oraon, also known as Kurukh, is an indigenous tribal community primarily found in India, especially in states like Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and West Bengal. They have a rich cultural heritage, including unique festivals, dance forms, and traditional customs. Traditionally, many Oraons engaged in agriculture, hunting, and gathering, and they speak their own language called Kurukh.
