Optical Mechanics

Optical mechanics is the study of how light interacts with objects and how it behaves as it travels. It examines phenomena such as reflection, refraction, dispersion, and the behavior of lenses and mirrors to understand and control light in devices like telescopes, microscopes, and cameras. Essentially, optical mechanics combines principles of physics and geometry to explain how light is directed, focused, or spread, enabling us to develop technologies for imaging, communication, and scientific exploration.
