Opportunity Rover
The Opportunity Rover was a robotic vehicle launched by NASA in 2003 to explore Mars. Designed to analyze the planet's surface, rocks, and soil, it helped scientists learn about Mars’ geology and past water presence. Over nearly 15 years, it traveled thousands of miles, sending valuable data back to Earth. Despite its expected 90-day mission, Opportunity operated far beyond that, demonstrating durability and scientific worth. It officially completed its mission in 2019 after getting stuck in a dust storm and losing power, marking a successful and inspiring chapter in planetary exploration.
