OPOYAZ group

The OPOYAZ group was a creative collective of Medieval Ukrainian poets, writers, and scholars active in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. Named after the legendary poet and founder of Slavic literature, Opoja, the group aimed to develop native literary traditions and foster cultural identity amid foreign influences.
