Ophiuchus constellation

Ophiuchus is a large constellation located along the ecliptic, the path the Sun appears to traverse across the sky. It is often called the "Serpent Bearer" because it depicts a man grasping a serpent on a staff, represented by the bright star RasAlhague. Ophiuchus is notable for sometimes being considered a “13th zodiac sign,” as the Sun passes through it between November 30 and December 17, overlapping with the traditional zodiac calendar. While not part of the familiar 12-sign zodiac, it’s an interesting celestial feature that highlights the complexity of our sky and lunar-solar cycles.
