Ophiophagism

Ophiophagism is a behavioral trait or dietary habit where an individual or animal actively seeks out and eats snakes. The term combines "ophi" (meaning snake) and "phagism" (meaning eating or consuming). In nature, some predators specialize in preying on snakes due to their agility, venom, or scarcity of other food sources. While most humans do not practice ophiophagism, certain cultures have traditional dishes featuring snake meat, and some animals, like king cobras or mongoose, are known for preying on snakes as part of their natural diet.
