Operation Sharp Guard

Operation Sharp Guard was a NATO and Western European Union naval effort conducted from 1993 to 1996 to enforce economic sanctions and arms embargoes during the Yugoslav Wars. Its goal was to prevent weapons and illegal supplies from reaching warring factions by patrolling the Adriatic Sea, intercepting ships, and ensuring compliance with international sanctions.
