Operation Safe Haven

Operation Safe Haven was a U.S. military mission in 1994 to manage Vietnamese refugees fleeing instability in Vietnam. When chaos and violence threatened their safety, the U.S. established designated locations, primarily in Texas, to provide shelter, aid, and processing for refugees. The operation aimed to ensure their safety while they sought legal asylum or resettlement in the United States.
