Operation Raah-e-Nijat

Operation Raah-e-Nijat, carried out in September 1990, was a military effort by the Pakistan Army to clear insurgent groups in the Kargil region of Indian-administered Kashmir. Its goal was to restore security, eliminate militants, and re-establish governmental control over the area. The operation involved patrolling, targeted strikes, and mobilization of troops to suppress insurgent activities and stabilize the region amidst ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan over Kashmir.
