Operation Linebacker

Operation Linebacker was a U.S. military campaign during the Vietnam War in 1972 aimed at disrupting North Vietnam’s supply routes and military infrastructure, particularly along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. It involved intensive aerial bombing of key logistical and transportation targets to weaken North Vietnam’s ability to sustain its forces.
