Operation Green Hunt

Operation Green Hunt was a military and police campaign launched by the Indian government starting around 2009 to counter Maoist insurgent groups known as Naxalites, primarily in central and eastern India. The operation aimed to combat armed Maoist militants who were suspected of violence, extortion, and disrupting development efforts in affected regions.
