Open Computing Facilities

Open Computing Facilities (OCF) are community-run computer labs and resources, typically at universities, that provide students, staff, and faculty access to high-performance computing, servers, and software. They support collaborative research, development, and learning by offering shared technology infrastructure. OCFs operate transparently and inclusively, often relying on volunteer efforts, and aim to foster innovation, sharing of knowledge, and increased technological access for academic and community purposes.
