ontological relativity

Ontological relativity is the idea that our understanding of what fundamentally exists—our "ontology"—depends on the conceptual framework or language we use. Essentially, different cultures, sciences, or philosophies might describe or interpret reality using different basic concepts, so there is no single, absolute view of what exists. What seems real in one framework might not be in another. This suggests that our ideas about reality are shaped by the systems of thought we adopt, and there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer to what "really exists."
