One Day Internationals

One Day Internationals (ODIs) are a form of cricket played between two national teams, each comprising 11 players. The match lasts a single day, with a set limit of 50 overs per team—an over consists of six consecutive balls bowled by a bowler. The batting team aims to score as many runs as possible within their 50 overs, while the bowling and fielding team tries to restrict runs and dismiss wickets. The team with the highest total score at the end wins. ODIs combine strategic batting, bowling, and fielding and are a popular, fast-paced format in international cricket.
