One-day cricket
One-day cricket is a fast-paced version of cricket played over a single day, typically lasting around 7-8 hours. Each team of 11 players has a set number of overs, usually 50, to score as many runs as possible. One team bats first, trying to build a substantial total, while the other team bowls and fields to prevent them from scoring. After both teams have played their innings, the team with the most runs wins. It combines strategic batting, bowling, and fielding, making it engaging and easier to follow than longer formats like Test cricket.
