Omikujis

Omikuji are traditional Japanese paper fortunes typically drawn at Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. When you visit, you shake a box containing numbered sticks, select one, and receive a paper slip that predicts your luck—covering aspects like health, wealth, love, and career. The fortunes range from great luck to bad luck. If the prediction is unfavorable, it is customary to tie the slip to a designated rack or tree at the shrine, hoping to leave the bad luck behind. Omikuji serve as both a spiritual reflection and a cultural experience, offering insights and guidance for the future.
