Oliver Plunkett

Oliver Plunkett was an Irish Catholic archbishop and saint who lived in the 17th century. He was committed to religious reform and the unity of Catholics in Ireland. During a period of persecution against Catholics, he was falsely accused of treason, imprisoned, and ultimately executed in 1681. Despite the injustice, he became a symbol of faith and resilience for Irish Catholics.
