Oklahoma Judiciary

The Oklahoma Judiciary is the state's court system, responsible for administering justice under the law. It includes various levels of courts: the Oklahoma Supreme Court, which is the highest court, handles appeals and ensures laws are applied fairly; the Court of Criminal Appeals, which focuses on criminal cases; and several district and municipal courts that deal with local matters, civil cases, and misdemeanors. Judges are selected through nonpartisan elections. The judiciary ensures that legal disputes are resolved impartially and helps uphold the rights of individuals within the state.
