OII Europe (Organisation Intersex International Europe)

OII Europe (Organisation Intersex International Europe) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the human rights and well-being of intersex individuals in Europe. Intersex people are born with physical sex characteristics that don't fit typical definitions of male or female. OII Europe works to raise awareness, promote understanding, and challenge discrimination and medical practices that infringe on intersex rights. The organization collaborates with intersex communities, policymakers, and healthcare providers to foster acceptance, ensure informed consent, and support legal and social equality for intersex people across Europe.
