Ohio State legislature

The Ohio State Legislature consists of two chambers: the Ohio Senate and the Ohio House of Representatives. Together, they create state laws, decide on budgets, and establish policies for Ohio. Senators and Representatives are elected by residents of Ohio for specific terms. The legislature reviews proposed laws, debates their merits, and votes to pass or reject them. Once passed, laws are signed by the governor to become official. The legislature also checks the executive branch and can amend or override vetoes through specific procedures. Its primary role is to represent Ohioans and govern the state's legal and fiscal matters.
