Offset printing
Offset printing is a widely used method for producing high-quality printed materials. It works by transferring ink from a metal plate to a rubber blanket, then onto paper. The process begins with creating a plate that contains the image to be printed. Ink is applied to the plate, which only holds ink in the image areas. The inked image is then transferred to a rubber sheet (blanket), and finally, it is pressed onto paper. This indirect process ensures sharp images, consistent quality, and cost-effective printing of large volumes, making it ideal for producing books, newspapers, and magazines.
