Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence (TFI)

The Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence (TFI) is a branch of the U.S. Department of the Treasury that focuses on combating terrorism financing and other financial crimes. Its main goal is to disrupt money flows that support terrorist activities and to ensure that the financial system is not misused for illegal purposes. TFI works with other government agencies and international partners to identify, investigate, and sanction individuals or organizations involved in these activities, thereby enhancing national and global security.
