October Club
The October Club was a political gathering in 18th-century Britain, composed mainly of Members of Parliament (MPs) who opposed some government policies, particularly those related to the Grenville administration. It was formed in October 1763 as a way for these MPs to coordinate their opposition and influence parliamentary decisions. The club was not a formal organization but rather an informal grouping that helped members communicate and strategize. Its existence reflects the growing importance of parliamentary factions and the way political alliances formed outside official party structures during that period.
