Ocelot Society

Ocelot society refers to the social behavior and interactions of ocelots, which are medium-sized wild cats found primarily in Central and South America. Ocelots are primarily solitary animals, usually living alone except during mating season or when mothers are raising their kittens. They establish territories using scent markings and vocalizations. Their social interactions are largely driven by the need to hunt and mate. While they may occasionally tolerate other ocelots within their range, they prefer to maintain distance, showcasing a balance of independence and social awareness in their behavior.
