OB/GYNs
OB/GYNs, or obstetricians and gynecologists, are specialized doctors who focus on women's reproductive health. Obstetricians care for women during pregnancy, labor, and childbirth, helping ensure a safe process for mother and baby. Gynecologists diagnose and treat issues related to the reproductive system, such as menstrual problems, infections, and hormone imbalances. Many OB/GYNs are trained in both areas, providing comprehensive care from adolescence through menopause. They perform exams, screenings, and surgeries as needed, helping women maintain health, fertility, and well-being throughout different life stages.
