Nymphing
Nymphing is a fishing technique that involves using specialized fishing flies called nymphs, which resemble underwater insects in their immature stage. Anglers use a lightweight line and a long, sensitive rod to present these nymphs naturally beneath the water surface, often using floats or weight to control their depth. The goal is to mimic the insects' natural movement to attract fish, particularly trout. This method is effective because many fish feed below the surface on insects in their early stages, making nymphing a precise and strategic way to catch them.
