Nymph
A nymph is a stage in the development of certain insects, like dragonflies and damselflies, during metamorphosis. It comes after the egg and before the adult. Nymphs typically look like smaller, immature versions of the adult but lack fully developed wings and reproductive organs. They usually live in water and go through several molts, shedding their skin as they grow. This stage allows the insect to develop vital features gradually until it matures into its fully developed adult form capable of reproduction.
