NVMe-oF

NVMe-oF (Non-Volatile Memory Express over Fabrics) is a technology that allows fast storage devices, like SSDs, to connect over a network rather than directly to a computer’s motherboard. It extends the high-speed performance of NVMe SSDs across various types of network connections, such as Ethernet or Fibre Channel. This enables multiple computers or servers to access shared storage quickly and efficiently, similar to local drives, but over a network, improving scalability and reducing latency for data-intensive applications.
