NVG (Night Vision Goggles)
Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) are devices that enhance visibility in low-light or complete darkness by amplifying available light, such as moonlight or starlight. They use a technology called image intensification, which collects tiny amounts of light, including infrared, and converts it into electrical signals. These signals are then processed and displayed on a screen inside the goggles, providing the wearer with a clear, near-infrared or grayscale image of their surroundings. NVGs are widely used by military, law enforcement, and in some civilian activities like hunting and search-and-rescue operations, enabling effective operation in darkness.
