Nurture theory

Nurture theory suggests that the environment and experiences a person encounters—such as upbringing, education, culture, and relationships—play a significant role in shaping their behavior, personality, and abilities. It emphasizes that while genetics provide a foundation, the external factors and life circumstances influence how individuals develop over time. In essence, nurture advocates believe that our environment can mold who we become just as much as, or more than, our inherited traits.
