Nurdle Bandits

Nurdle Bandits are individuals or groups who intentionally deposit small plastic pellets, called nurdles, into oceans and waterways. These tiny pellets are used in plastic manufacturing but often spill during transportation or handling. Once in the environment, nurdles resemble food to marine life, causing ingestion and harm. The term highlights the problem of plastic pollution, emphasizing the need to prevent these “bandits” from contaminating ecosystems with these persistent, small plastic pieces.
