Nuclear fallout

Nuclear fallout refers to the hazardous debris, radioactive dust, and particles that are released into the atmosphere following a nuclear explosion or accident. When a nuclear device detonates, it creates a fireball and intense radiation, vaporizing materials and producing radioactive particles that are carried by the wind. These particles eventually settle back to the ground over a wide area, contaminating the environment, water, and air. Fallout remains dangerous because it emits radiation that can harm living organisms, potentially causing radiation sickness, genetic damage, and increasing cancer risks. It is a serious health and environmental concern after nuclear events.
