NTSC
NTSC (National Television System Committee) is a standard used primarily in North America for transmitting television signals. It determines how video and audio are encoded, transmitted, and displayed on TVs. NTSC specifies the frame rate (about 30 frames per second) and the color encoding method, ensuring consistent picture quality and color reproduction across compatible devices. Although largely replaced by digital standards today, NTSC was fundamental in shaping television broadcasting and remains a term associated with traditional analog television systems.
