NRP (National Response Plan)
The National Response Plan (NRP) is a comprehensive framework created by the U.S. government to coordinate responses to disasters and emergencies, including natural disasters, terrorism, and public health crises. It outlines how federal, state, and local agencies, along with private organizations and volunteers, work together to prepare for, respond to, and recover from these events. The NRP ensures effective communication and resource sharing among all involved parties, helping to minimize chaos and improve safety for affected communities. It was replaced by the National Response Framework, which continues to focus on the same principles of coordination and preparedness.
