NRC Rating

NRC Rating, or Noise Reduction Coefficient, measures how well a material absorbs sound. It ranges from 0 to 1, where 0 means no sound is absorbed (all sound is reflected), and 1 means total absorption (all sound is absorbed). For example, an NRC of 0.75 indicates the material absorbs 75% of the sound that hits it. This rating helps in selecting appropriate materials for soundproofing or acoustic treatment in spaces like offices, studios, or theaters, to improve sound quality and reduce noise levels.
