Nothsaur
Nothosaur (also spelled Nothosaurus) was an marine reptile that lived approximately 200 million years ago during the Triassic period. It resembled a modern sea snake or marine lizard, with a long, slender body, paddle-like limbs, and a tail adapted for swimming. Nothosaurs were semi-aquatic predators, hunting fish and cephalopods in shallow seas. They are part of the larger group called sauropterygians, which includes other marine reptiles like plesiosaurs. Nothosaurs played an important role in their ecosystems, showcasing early adaptations to marine life before the rise of dinosaurs.
